As reported, Warner Bros could sell games studies; Xbox, EA and Sony interested
According to reports, Warner Bros. Discovery plans to sell some of their games and IP studies to the main actors in the industry. It is not the first time that this rumor arises. In the summer of 2020, there were rumors that Warner Bros. was considering selling some of his game divisions. At that time, it was rumored that Xbox was interested in making a deal with Warner Bros. of course, it was nothing, but it is not particularly surprising that Microsoft was willing to get into their pockets to acquire part of the property of WB. It seems that this could materialize as a reality now.
According to Imran Khan de Fanbyte, Warner Bros. Discovery can be "buying" his studies of games and licensed intellectual property (that is, Batman, Superman, Harry Potter) in the industry. Khan said that the main names of the industry such as Microsoft, Sony, Electronic Arts, Take-Two and more are interested in acquiring these equipment. It is not clear if Warner Bros. would keep any intellectual property or equipment or if I would sell everything wholesale. Nor is it clear if I would be willing to divide intellectual property and studies between different buyers. Anyway, Khan declared that he does not have enough information to write an official report confidentially, so this must be taken with tweezers.
When the fusion of the Warner Bros. Discovery agreement was completed earlier this month, a report that talked about the potential plans for the company's future came out. In that report, it was pointed out that Warner Bros. Discovery wanted to "reinforce" his game division, suggesting that he would invest more in games based on properties such as DC. New AAA games have not been announced since the merger was completed, so we have no concrete information about the company at this time. It is possible that Warner Bros. Discovery has seen the interest of other companies to adopt their brands in 2020 and felt that it could be a movement that was worth it, but it is not known at this time.
