"Unbelievably horny": Mixed team wins Olympia bronze in Judo
The Mixed team has brought the third medal to the German Judo-Bund (DJB) at the Olympics in Tokyo. In the first team competition of the Olympic history, the choice of bronze medal winner Anna-Maria Wagner (Ravensburg) secured with a 4-2 against the Netherlands again bronze.
In the Nippon Budokan Dominic Ressel, Wagner, Theresa Stoll and Sebastian Seidl brought the necessary points to victory. Wagner had injured himself in the semifinals of the single arm and was still spared in the first three mixed laps. But in the fight for bronze, the 25-year-old delivered greatly.
"We had the spirit today, which we need to be bombing. We showed what we have on it," Seidl said in the ard. Ressel also became euphoric: "It feels unbelievably horny. Not only we six have brought the medal, but the whole team. It is a team success and we celebrate too."

In the quarter-finals, the German team had missed a surprise against World Champion and Topfavorit Japan and lost 2: 4 after a 2-0 lead. In the hopeful round followed a 4: 2 against Mongolia. The first German Judo precious metal in Tokyo had won Eduard Trippel (Rüsselsheim / 90 kg) on Wednesday with the silver medal. Unlike in the hopeful round, trippel against the Netherlands was no longer used.
